Up first is North Essex outfit Rubber Jaw with their debut single ‘Feeling Funny’. Comprising of claustrophobic beats, lingering vocals, weeping digital guitar effects and synthesised basses, Feeling Funny is the hallmark of the band’s emerging sound. Inspired by films such as The Man Who Fell to Earth, Eraserhead and Videodrome, the self-directed accompanying video compliments the band’s vision and DIY ethos. ‘Feeling Funny’ and its B-Side ‘Bumpy faces’ comes in a limited edition, dark blue 7” vinyl with artwork and inserts made by the band.
